The own Master´s degree with practice and theory in contemporary arts and culture was launched in conjunction with the University of the Basque Country in the academic year 2022-2023. It is the first of its kind in the Basque Country and arose from the need to comprehend the new reality of contemporary artistic and cultural practices from an applied perspective. It is aimed at favouring the professionalization of students and is taught by over 40 trainers.
Description:
The Master´s degree is divided into 8 seminars tackling different topics ranging from text and word to art formats, passing through culture and copyrights, creation of new audiences, curatorship practices, management, and archive importance. In addition to the foregoing, there are 4 transversal areas related to professionalization, debate, networking knowledge and collective working, and a block including the End of Master Project.
