Summary:

Through the Museum Traces photographic series, artist Ramón Williams displays the trance of assembling and disassembling works in a museum, uncovering the traces left by the projects which generally cannot be seen by the public.

These photographs occupy the walls of the white box but are not part of any exhibition. In this way, he shares walls that appear to look fired upon and windows that invite us to leave the closed space of art. He reveals the measurements of works which are no longer there and of other works to come. On the wall he writes stories of pieces which are as real as they are fictitious, as permanent as they are ephemeral.

From occupying, as an artist, some of the rooms of these museums, in this series Williams takes on the task, as a worker, of addressing the issue from the other side, revealing where these works leave their less luminous traces before and after the exhibitions.
