Casado, Rosa
A multidiscipline artist and researcher, her works focus on issues related to performative and critical spatial practices.

Based on the fact that she conceives the performative and stage event as a “place”, over the last years she has explored the possibility of generating an “expanded sense of space” via stage proposals and artistic interventions such as Materia divina (2021), En un día claro… (2019), Quiet, too quiet but not silent (2018) and Grey Line [Twilight] (2016). She has produced over 20 projects with fellow artist Mike Brookes, which have been widely presented in various contexts throughout the world. She holds a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies (Glasgow University) and contributes to various research and teaching projects (Artea, UCLM, Museo Reina Sofia, Azkuna Zentroa, EHU, and Aberystwyth University). She has been part of the Prototipoak, International Biennial of New Artistic Forms, organised by Azkuna Zentroa since 2016.
