Crónicas complejas is a space for thought, reflection and transversal creation revolving around art and health. It involves people who suffered illnesses, health and culture users, as well as professionals or anyone interested in these topics.
This proposal, in collaboration with Osakidetza and Cruces Hospital Paediatric Unit, is articulated as a public healthcare meeting point where we would like to give a voice to the children who live with complex chronic illnesses.
Description:
Kit tool design and creation
A tool designed to activate the story has been created in collaboration with Cruces pediatric staff. The basic mobile KIT is a straightforward tool, i.e. a user friendly design with instructions and suggestions for exercises or games (you can print it out or use it digitally). Although designed for the Paediatric Unit, it can be used anywhere at any time. Its purpose is to activate dialogue and is useful for both those who’ve undergone the experience or have just started treatment, likewise for those who write/draw and read it.
A workshop session was held at Azkuna Zentroa to use the KIT tool and start building a collective story. Different people, namely patients, relatives and medical staff, took part in this workshop on 14th December, 2021.
