As part of the Babestu programme, she is working on the project titled que se basta a sí mismo (that which is self-sufficient), which aims to understand language as something plastic and performative, as a form.
During her residency at Azkuna Zentroa she has created an archive of videos regarding the movement of people in nocturnal recreational environments, giving shape to them through performance.
“The first phase was editing the raw footage. Then I looked for a way to create a situation closer to performance. By replicating the gesture, I went back to the torsos, projecting them directly onto the bodies of the performers. This decision led to the articulation of a new video and the positioning of those moving bodies within a space.” According to the artist, “That was the icing on the cake”.
