Abstract

<b>Societat Doctor Alonso</b>, compañía escénica dirigida por <b>Tomás Aragay</b> (director de teatro y dramaturgo) y <b>Sofía Asencio</b> (bailarina y coreógrafa) presenta <b><i>Hammamturgia</i></b>, su último proyecto escénico que reflexiona sobre la “hammamturgia”, entendido como lo otro de la dramaturgia.<br> En las investigaciones realizadas, la compañía ha trabajado siempre con la noción de “código abierto”. <i>«Trabajamos con unas pautas o reglas internas que se delimitan conceptualmente a través de la práctica, y con un desarrollo que afronta al público como un espacio liminal: la recepción será abierta y oscura al mismo tiempo, el público pasa por un estado de incertidumbre, ya que la comprensión de la obra se muestra de alguna manera encriptada por ese código»</i>, reflexionan desde Societat Alonso.<br> En ese sentido, en el proyecto fijan unos parámetros de investigación para generar de nuevo un código interno. «Un código que gira en torno a las ideas de “hammamturgia” y ambiente, y que habrá de tener suficientes variables que sean legibles para el público y que dejen espacio para su imaginación» explican desde la compañía.

<b>Societat Doctor Alonso</b>, a stage company directed by <b>Tomás Aragay</b> (theatre director and playwright) and <b>Sofía Asencio</b> (dancer and choreographer), presents <b><i>Hammamturgia</i></b>, their latest stage production which reflects on “hammamturgia”, understood as the other part of dramaturgy.<br> When doing research, the company has always worked with the “open code” idea. As stated by Societat Doctor Alonso: <i>“We work with internal guidelines or rules conceptually delimited through practice. When developed, they appear before the audience as a liminal space, whereby reception is both dark and open at the same time. The audience undergoes a state of uncertainty, since comprehension of the work appears somewhat encrypted by that code.”</i><br> In this sense, a series of research parameters are set in the project to generate again a new internal code. <i>“A code revolving around the ideas of hammamturgy and atmosphere, that will need to include sufficient variables to be legible by the audience, whilst leaving space for their imagination”</i> as explained by the company.
