Las partes de La Malinche

Abstract

Azkuna Zentroa presenta del 15 de julio al 15 de septiembre la intervención artística de Leire Urbeltz dentro del <i>Proyecto Fatxada. Diseño, ilustración y cómic</i>. <p>La artista propone un retrato triple que extrae de su publicación <i>Borderland</i>, trabajo que ha recibido el reconocimiento de la Fundación BBVA a través de sus Becas Leonardo para la Investigación y Creación cultural en 2017. Entre las ilustraciones que componen este proyecto, se encuentra un retrato enfrentado que refleja las opiniones opuestas sobre una legendaria mujer: La Malinche.</p>

Azkuna Zentroak Leire Urbeltzen interbentzio artistikoa, <i>Fatxada proiektua. Diseinua, ilustrazioa eta komikia</i>-ren barruan, izango du uztailaren 15(e)tik irailaren 15(e)ra arte. <p><i>Borderland</i> argitalpenetik ateratako erretratu hirukoitza proposatzen du Urbeltzek. Lanak BBVA Fundazioaren onespena jaso du, 2017ko Ikerkuntza eta Sorkuntza Kulturalerako Leonardo beken bidez. Proiektua eratzen duten ilustrazioen artean, emakume ospetsu bati buruzko aurkako iritziak islatzen dituen erretratu bat dago: Malintxe da emakume hori.</p>

Design, illustration and comic</i>. <p>The artist proposes a triple portrait extracted from her publication <i>Borderland</i>, which received the recognition of Fundación BBVA through their Leonardo Grants for cultural Research and Creation in 2017. Among the illustrations which make up this project, there is a confronted portrait that reflects the opposing opinions about the legendary woman ‘La Malinche’.</p>
