Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country. Postgraduate degree in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques at Eina school (Barcelona), Master in Illustrated Children's Album at school I with I at Casa del Lector-Matadero Madrid and Master in Research and Art Creation at UPV-EHU.

She defines her practice as expanded illustration. The one who experiments with the limits of illustration at a formal or conceptual level, questioning the space of her own language. She is interested in recreating excluded and vulnerable worlds, in an attempt to loosen borders through fragile constructions of paper and diversity of color. Her gaze portrays social contexts such as temporary women, border Chicanas or singers of the musical counterculture of the 60s and 70s.

She has made the following individual exhibitions: Sixties Women Magical Mystery Tour at The Urban Offices in El Paso (Texas); I am Temporary Here in the Citadel of Pamplona; I don't know myself in the Canvas gallery in Pamplona (2013); and Plants that are not Green at the Bilbaoarte Foundation. She has had artistic residencies in Pekin (China) or Ciudad Juarez (Mexico). Her work has also been exhibited in various group exhibitions and she has collaborated as an illustrator in the publication of several books. Urbeltz has combined his artistic work with artistic education. Her last years have been spent riding between Mexico and Austin (Texas) collaborating with artists on both sides of the border.
