Nico Jongen and Laura Viñals are the heart and soul of Ça marche, a performing arts company founded in 2015 and based in Barcelona. Its creative projects reflect on the dialogue between theatre, performance, movement and visual arts.
Their interest in linking an author’s stage creation with a local audience has led them to focus on amateur performers. The cast for their works is made up of non-professional children, teens and adults, who contribute with their corporal and experiential material, the texture of each city and each person.
As Associated Artists at Azkuna Zentroa they are working on the stage performance titled “Trabajos forzados” and the technical residency “Incendis“ (Fires).
Urbegi supports the Ça Marche collective within Azkuna Zentroa's Associated Artists programme, demonstrating its commitment to social development through the creation of strategic alliances.
