Sahatsa Jauregi Azkarate (Itaparica, Bahía, 1984) graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts (EHU-UPV) in 2007 and is currently a member of the Okela association. She has taken part in several exhibitions: Halfhouse (Barcelona, 2019), Carreras Múgica (Bilbao, 2016), Montehermoso (Vitoria-Gasteiz, 2011), Taca (Palma de Mallorca, 2019), GioBat (Bilbao, 2015) and in the Abisal Espazioa (Bilbao, 2009). Also in the group: Reencuentros (Logroño, 2020), Swamp Horses (Espinavessa, 2019), Bi Dos Two, (Azkuna Center, Bilbao 2017) and the New Artists of Gipuzkoa Program (Koldo Mitxelena, Donostia, 2013). She has won several awards: Gure Artea Award (2019), Ertibil-Bizkaia (2017) and the Gipuzkoa New Artists Program (2013). She has been a resident of Tabakalera (San Sebastián), Halfhouse (Barcelona), Bilbaoarte Fundazioa, Consonni (Bilbao) and Pacific Film Archive (Berkeley, CA).
