Gaspar Maza holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography and History, a Postgraduate Degree in Social Education and a PhD in Social Anthropology. He is a member of Idensitat, an art project which experiments with ways of influencing the territory in its spatial, temporal and social dimensions through creative processes. At Idensitat he is co-director of specific projects: iD Sport and Espacios Zombi (Zombie Spaces).
Idensitat is conceived as a system which incorporates other projects, actions or interventions that extend into different spaces and contexts. It fosters a conglomerate of strategies aimed at carrying out activities which combine research, production, management, education and communication. A system that at the same time is based on collaborative dynamics with the purpose of correlating contemporary artistic practice with other disciplines, developing mechanisms which can be connected to certain social space orbits.
