he began his career as an assistant on the EUROTRA European machine translation programme (1988). He teaches machine translation to students in the Translation and Interpreting degree programme at UAM since 2006. Additionally, he teaches machine translation and post-editing in the Audiovisual Translation and Localization master’s programme at UAM-UCM since 2017. He is the author or co-author of six books, including “Lingüística Computacional” (1998), “Gramáticas de unificación y rasgos” (2001), “Lenguas y computación” (2019), and “Financial Narrative Processing in Spanish” (2021) (2021), and more than 100 scientific papers and articles.
