As a professional librarian from the private sector, she works as a consultant on strategy and implementation of information and documentation services.
She combines this work with teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses related to information management and libraries.
She coordinates the “Libraries and the 2030 Agenda” Group and is part of the Library Cooperation Council’s “Library Laboratories” Group (Ministry of Culture and Sport). She is a member of the Spanish Sustainable Development Council and the Royal Board of Trustees of the National Library of Spain.
She is also a member of the Executive Committee of EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations) and the European Division of IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions).
