Maddi Barber has a degree in Audiovisual Communication and an MA in Visual Anthropology from the University of Manchester. His latest works, 592 metroz goiti and Urpean Lurra, deal with the territory affected by the Itoiz swamp and have gone through festivals such as: Visions du Réel, Zinemaldia (Zabaltegi), Curtocircuito, Alcances, Porto Post Doc, L'Alternativa and Festival of Las Palmas. In 2019 he won the X-FILMS project of the Punto de Vista festival with which Gorria made.
