A plastic artist, in 1988 he received the First Prize for Painting and Second Prize for Drawing in the IVth Euskadi Plastic Arts Competition, in 1989 the Bilbao Bizkaiko Artea First Prize, and the First Prize in the 31st Competition for Novice Artists in Guipúzcoa. In 1993, he was awarded the Mojácar Painting Grant and the Endesa Group Grant for Plastic Arts. Of particular note are his individual exhibitions in the Windsor Kulturgintza galleries (Bilbao), My Name´s Lolita Art and Elba Benítez (Madrid). His work is present in the Álava Museo de Bellas Artes, the Endesa Group Collection (Madrid), the Colección Diputación de Cádiz (the Cadiz Provincial Government Collection), in the Diputaciones Forales de Álava y Guipúzcoa (the Provincial Government Collections of Álava and Guipúzcoa), in the Andersen Consulting Collection and in the Ayuntamiento de Pamplona (the Pamplona City Hall), amongst others.
