Summary:
Choreographer, dancer and actor Guillermo Weickert is presenting his new stage creation Luz sobre las cosas at the Auditorium.

An open suggestion, which waives plot outlines and rational reductions; to set itself within an oneiric fantasy area enabling its formal freedom.

According to its creator this dance piece is an experiment on that which moves and stirs emotionally, regarding its own stage language in relation to its intuitive search for these atmospheres that sparkle to communicate, appealing first to the senses before reason, exhibiting “beauty” as an emotional movement arousing in the audience’s mood.
Description:
In Luz sobre las cosas there is no map or plot outline to hang onto for the exploration we’ve been called to attend, but rather we delve into the darkness of the stage box like children tiptoeing down into a gloomy basement in search of unknown adventures. That’s where we attend the creation ritual. All the artists taking part and accompanying us can make it out to be emptiness, darkness and silence, whereby something new can be created and manifested. Thus everyone will be free to decide whether to kneel before the thing that appears.
