Abstract

<i>MIRADOR centro de investigación</i> fikziozko espazio bat da, Bilboko espazio publikoan garatutako eraikin ikusezin bat. Artistak hilabeteak eman ditu behaketan, Udaletxeko Zubiko zaintza-etxolan eta inguruetan, eta idazketa eta esku-hartze publikoa proposatzen ditu eremu performatiboa sortzeko, eta begiradaren ikerketa-zentroa eratzeko.<br> Sakelako ‘gida praktiko’ baten bidez eta Udaletxeko Zubian argi eta soinu bidezko eskuhartze batekin, herritarrek aukera izango dute begiratzeko dimentsio desberdinetan sartzeko, hiria ezohiko ikuspegietatik bizitzeko, gorputzaren lokalizazio-zentzua funtsezkoa baita ‘zer begiratzen dugun eta begiratuz nola eraikitzen dugun’ birpentsatzeko.<br> ‘Gida praktiko’* hau Azkuna Zentroa (AzShop), Baobab Bar Tetería (Printzipe Kalea 1) eta Uriarte Goiricelaya Farmazia (Carnicería Vieja 15) banaketa-puntuetan dago.

<i>MIRADOR centro de investigación</i> es un espacio de ficción, una construcción invisible desarrollada en el espacio público de la ciudad de Bilbao. Tras meses de observación y estancia en la caseta de vigilancia del Puente del Ayuntamiento y sus alrededores, la artista propone la escritura y la intervención pública como medios para construir un centro de investigación de la mirada.<br> A través de una ‘guía práctica’ de bolsillo y una intervención lumínico-sonora en el área del Puente del Ayuntamiento, la artista invita a la ciudadanía a habitar la ciudad desde perspectivas diferentes a las habituales en las que el sentido de localización del cuerpo es fundamental para repensar ‘qué miramos y cómo construimos mirando’.<br> Esta ‘guía práctica’* puede encontrarse en Azkuna Zentroa (AzShop), en Baobab Bar Tetería (Calle del Príncipe 1) y en Farmacia Uriarte Goiricelaya (Carnicería Vieja 15).

<i>MIRADOR centro de investigación</i> is a fictional space, an invisible construct developed within the urban public space of Bilbao. After months of observation and work within the surveillance booth at the Town Hall Bridge and its surrounding area, the artist proposes writing and public intervention as the means to performing a new place that takes the form of a research center for the gaze.<br> Through a published pocket ‘practical guide’ and a light-sound intervention into the area of the City Council Bridge, Camila invites us to inhabit the city from different and unusual perspectives, in which the sense of the body’s location is fundamental to rethinking ‘what we are looking at and how we look’.<br> This ‘practical guide’* is available from Azkuna Zentroa (AzShop), Baobab Bar Tetería (Calle del Príncipe 1) and Farmacia Uriarte Goiricelaya (Carnicería Vieja 15).
