</p><b>Presentación de procesos en compañía de Aimar Arriola</b></p>

En un pasaje concreto de la serie de libros infantiles Mary Poppins (escritos por P. L. Travers y publicados entre los años 1934 y 1988), la niñera protagonista se detiene frente a un escaparate para acicalarse y colocarse bien el sombrero. El cristal del escaparate devolvía a Mary Poppins tres reflejos de sí misma en lugar de uno. Lejos de sentirse perturbada, Mary suspiró satisfecha ante el múltiple reflejo de sí misma. Esta imagen especular, que al tiempo que fragmenta también multiplica la imagen de sí, y con ello cualquier noción estable de identidad, sirve en esta sesión como punto de partida para compartir un proceso de trabajo.<br> Como si de una sesión editorial en abierto se tratase, M. Benito Píriz -artista- compartirá en compañía de Aimar Arriola, Investigador Asociado a AZ, parte de la escritura y edición de su proyecto Mi cara no pega con este mundo, un libro en proceso escrito en el bloc de notas del móvil. Mediante recursos como el uso del vocabulario predictivo o el lenguaje inclusivo, el proyecto trabaja la literatura en su forma convencional buscando generar extrañeza en dicha forma.<br> Esta actividad sucede en el doble marco de Babestu. Programa de Apoyo a la Creación y Un deseo de forma (2020-2023), proyecto del comisario Aimar Arriola como Investigador Asociado a Azkuna Zentroa en el que indaga la relación entre las perspectivas queer y el arte dentro de la programación del centro.

Mary Poppins haurrentzako liburuen sortaren (P. L. Traversek idatzi zituen 1934aren eta 1988aren artean) pasarte jakin batean, haurtzain protagonista erakusleiho baten aurrean gelditzen da apaindu eta txapela ondo jartzeko. Erakusleihoaren kristalak bere buruaren hiru isla itzultzen dizkio Mary Poppinsi, ez bat. Maryk hasperen egiten du, bere buruaren isla hirukoitza ikusita; ez da asaldatzen. </p><b>Presentation of processes accompanied by Aimar Arriola</b></p>

In a passage from the children's book series Mary Poppins (written by P. L. Travers and published between 1934 and 1988), the nanny stops in front of a shop window to check her appearance and adjust her hat. What Mary Poppins saw in the shop window were three reflections of herself instead of one. Far from disturbed, Mary sighed with satisfaction at the multiple reflections of herself. This mirror image, which at once fragments and multiplies the self-image, and with it any stable notion of identity, serves as the starting point of this session for sharing a creative process.<br> In the vein of an open editorial session, artist M. Benito Píriz will share with Aimar Arriola, Associate Researcher at AZ, part of the writing and editing of her project Mi cara no pega con este mundo (“My Face Doesn’t Fit in this World”), a work in progress written on her mobile phone's notepad. Using resources such as predictive vocabulary and inclusive language, the project works with literature in its conventional form in an effort to generate strange new construction.<br> This project is being developed as part of Babestu. Creation Support Programme and Un deseo de forma (2020-2023), an initiative of curator Aimar Arriola, an Associate Artist at Azkuna Zentroa, in which he explores the relationship between queer perspectives and art.
