Abstract

</p> <b>Una invitación a explorar los límites de nuestra existencia. </b> </p>

<i>Confines</i> es el resultado de una investigación escénica entorno a la identidad, el progreso científico y los permeables límites entre la realidad y la ficción, que transita entre la ternura y la comicidad, apelando a la complicidad del espectador o espectadora.<br>

La nueva pieza teatral de Pablo Viar propone una reflexión sobre los diversos fines o límites que condicionan nuestro existir como seres humanos en el mundo, y sobre nuestra capacidad y deseo de trascenderlos.<br>

<i>Confines</i> es un espectáculo poético, un juego de espejos basado en el trabajo físico y vocal de sus intérpretes, una escenografía adaptable y un evocador diseño de luces y sonido, que invita a explorar los límites de nuestra existencia.<br>

Azkuna Zentroa coproduce esta obra de teatro protagonizada por Eguzki Zubia (La dinamika) y Txubio Fernández Jáuregui (Legaleón-T y Kolektivo Monstrenko).

<i>Confines</i> lana identitateari, aurrerapen zientifikoari eta errealitatearen eta fikzioaren arteko muga iragazkorrei buruzko ikerketa eszeniko baten emaitza da, samurtasunaren eta komikotasunaren artean dabilena, eta ikuslearen konplizitatea eskatzen du.<br>

Pablo Viarren antzerki-ikuskizun berriak gogoeta bat proposatzen du munduan gizaki gisa dugun existentzia baldintzatzen duten helburu edo mugei buruz, eta horiek gainditzeko dugun gaitasunari eta nahiari buruz.<br>

A middle-aged man and woman talk about their lives, feelings, memories, dreams, fears, the world they live in and anguish of death looming around the corner.<br>

Pablo Viar’s new theatre piece starts with life alteration due to the isolation, introspection, fear, uncertainty and pain involved as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic.<br>

Based on this traumatic experience with profound effects, the director and playwright proposes a reflection on the various purposes or limits affecting our existence as humans in the world likewise the nature of our corporal, linguistic, communicational and spatial limits, including our capacity and desire to go beyond them.<br>

<i>Confines</i> is a poetic work based on the actors’ physical and voice work, an adaptable staging and an evocative lighting and sound design inviting us to explore the limits of our existence.<br>
