The new cohort of Dantzerti Dance Degree of the Basque Art & Drama Faculty stages Show at Azkuna Zentroa.
This piece, revolving around the loss of privacy in a social media context, is a poetic reflection on the transformation of life within a Show.
It poses the inability to reach one's inner universe, generating a lack of authenticity and, in turn, an excess of frustration. The awareness of reality is born from the sigh of anguish caused by our own internal emptiness and shows us the idea that, to connect, the path is another.
The production starts with the life experience of four female students played by Ainara Bento, Lucía López, Alejandra Sancho and Alazne Uralde, under the direction of Ziomara Hormaetxe. The Basque choreographer, who set up her own company in 2016, opens the door to new technologies in her works and researches by dancing over the video mapping technique. She has recently established her project and artistic headquarters in Biarritz, likewise her dance teaching and project.
Ziomara Hormaetxe is currently working on a new Azkuna Zentroa stage production, where the presence of technology is presented as an audience connection element.
