| dc.description | <p><p> <b>PROGRAMAS</b> <ul> <li><b>#01. <i>Entropía en la cocina</i></b> (12/03/2019) - En 1967, la artista y autora experimental estadounidense <b>Pamela Zoline</b> desglosaba con <i>La muerte térmica del universo</i> el hastío hasta el delirio de Sarah Boyle, un ama de casa californiana de clase media, en clave de tratado sobre la entropía. En este primer episodio hablaremos del espacio doméstico, pasando para ello por el relato y la novela especulativa, por el arquetipo del ama de casa desquiciada en filmes como <i>Las esposas de Stepford</i> y por la visión que el <i>Manifiesto Xenofeminista</i> del colectivo <b>Laboria Cuboniks</b> plantea sobre el tema. </li> <li><b>#02. <i>Galaxias relacionales</i></b> (09/04/2019) - La exploración de relaciones alternativas a la monogamia han sido un terreno popular en la ciencia ficción desde sus inicios. Partiendo de <i>Woman on the Edge of Time</i>, la clásica novela utópica feminista de <b>Marge Piercy</b>, este primer episodio mirará hacia el poliamor como elemento de especulación política. También nos fijaremos en los tríos amorosos y las diversas versiones que se han dado en ejemplos del especulativo estatal e internacional, observaremos el imaginario de la sexualidad en la ciencia ficción audiovisual, nos preguntaremos si conseguimos zafarnos del patriarcado en una de las manifestaciones del poliamor más sonadas del género e indagaremos junto a <b>James Tiptree, Jr</b>. en las partes más problemáticas del deseo al alien como Otro. Todo ello atravesado por ideas que recoge <b>Brigitte Vasallo</b> en su ensayo <i>Pensamiento monógamo, terror poliamoroso</i>.</li> <li><b>#03. <i>Intimismo sideral</i></b> (07/05/2019) - En este tercer episodio seguimos la larga estela de la tradición que coloca a las mujeres en el centro del drama intimista y exploramos ficciones que han transportado ese drama a dimensiones extraplanetarias. Nos fijamos concretamente en las formas que toman maternidades y relaciones maritales en la ciencia ficción literaria breve, prestando especial atención a la producida en el ámbito hispanohablante de la mano de la autora y académica cubana <b>Maielis González</b>. <b>Laura Lazcano</b> presenta el espacio exterior en lo audiovisual como escenario de conflictos típicamente codificados en lo femenino.</li> <li><b>#04. <i>Probetas radioactivas</i></b> (18/06/2019) - ¿Cuántas somos capaces de nombrar a una científica que no sea Marie Curie? ¿Dónde están las doctoras Frankenstein, Jekyll, Strangelove? ¿Cayeron en el mismo olvidadero que las innumerables mujeres borradas de la historia de la ciencia por sus compañeros, maridos, mentores? En este episodio indagamos en la genealogía de las científicas que habitan el género especulativo y sus diversas relaciones con el patriarcado ejercido desde la ciencia occidental, centrándonos especialmente en la novela <i>Como la vida misma</i>, de <b>Gwyneth Jones</b>. En lo audiovisual, <b>Laura Lazcano</b> repasará la figura de la científica en la serie B de los años 50 y su progresión en el cine actual. A lo largo de este repaso nos apoyaremos en el ensayo de <b>S. García Dauder y Eulalia Pérez Sedeño</b> titulado <i>Las "mentiras" científicas sobre las mujeres</i>, y contaremos con una invitada especial: la autora mexicana <b>Gabriela Damián Miravete</b>, ganadora del Premio Tiptree 2018 con el relato <i>Soñarán en el jardín.</i></li> <li><b>#05. <i>A través del tiempo queer</i></b> (16/07/2019) - Con ocasión del orgullo LGBTQ+, que marcó este pasado junio el cincuenta aniversario de las revueltas de Stonewall, en este quinto episodio nos sumergimos en la ficción especulativa que explora y practica lo queer. Partimos del clásico de <b>Le Guin</b> <i>La mano izquierda de la oscuridad</i>, y de las limitaciones de esta reimaginación concreta del género, ayudadas de <i>El pensamiento heterosexual</i> de <b>Monique Wittig</b>. Repasamos genealogía urbana gay en la obra del neoyorquino <b>Samuel Delany</b> y trazamos vínculos entre su escritura y las reflexiones queer y descoloniales de <b>Hiromi Goto</b> a través de lo que el teórico <b>Jack Halberstam</b> denomina “tiempo queer”. <b>Laura Lazcano</b> nos trae ejemplos tempranos de ciencia ficción queer en el cine de los 70 y 80, el <i>New Queer Cinema</i> y sus exponentes, y nos cuenta cómo se refleja la transexualidad en la ficción actual. Escuchamos además algunas de las jóvenes voces bisexuales del fantástico estatal actual e indagamos en el potencial especulativo del pensamiento transfeminista hispanohablante.</i></li> <li><b>#06. <i>Aguafiestas Interplanetarias</i></b> (16/10/2019) - En este episodio daremos un paseo por los límites extraplanetarios del humor a partir de fragmentos de la novela corta <i>Upronounceable</i> (Aqueduct Press), de la estadounidense <b>Susan DiRende</b>. También charlaremos sobre el humor como instrumento desde una lente de género con la autora <b>Almijara Barbero Carvajal</b>, coeditora de la antología <b>Maldita la gracia</b> (Cerbero) y le preguntaremos a una de sus autoras seleccionadas, Eva Duncan, por qué Murcia. En La butaca de Lazcano nos enteraremos de la relación entre la comedia de ciencia ficción y el sexo en el cine estadounidense y europeo. Visitaremos de puntillas el vínculo entre comedia y censura en la historia del cuento <i>Gu ta gutarrak</i> de la argentina <b>Magdalena Mouján Otaño</b> y exploraremos el modo en que la felicidad orbita alrededor de todo esto de la mano del arquetipo de la aguafiestas feminista, definida por la filósofa <b>Sara Ahmed</b> en su ensayo <i>La promesa de la felicidad</i> (Caja Negra).</i></li> </ul> | es |

| dc.description | <p><p> <b>PROGRAMS</b> <ul> <li><b>#01. <i>Entropy in the kitchen</i></b> (12/03/2019) - In 1967, the artist and experimental US author <b>Pamela Zoline</b>, broke down with <i>The Thermal Death of the Universe</i> the weariness ‘till delirium of Sarah Boyle, a middle class Californian housewife, key of treaty on entropy. In this first episode we will talk about the domestic space, going through the story and the speculative novel, the archetype of an unhinged housewife in films such as <i>Stepford Wives</i> and the vision of the Xenofeminist Manifesto of the collective Laboria Cuboniks on this topic. </li> <li><b>#02. <i>Relational galaxies</i></b> (09/04/2019) - The exploration of alternative relationships to monogamy has been a popular field in science fiction since its inception. Based on <b>Marge Piercy's</b> <i>Woman on the Edge of Time</i>, the classic utopian feminist novel, this first episode will look towards polyamory as an element of political speculation. We will also look at the love trios and the various versions that have been given in the examples of state and international speculative, observing the imaginary of sexuality in audiovisual science fiction, we will ask ourselves if we achieve to wriggle out from patriarchy in one of the manifestations of the polyamory most talked of the genre and we will investigate with James Tiptree, Jr. in the most problematic parts of the desire to the alien as Otro. All this crossed by ideas that <b>Brigitte Vasallo</b> picks up in her essay <i>Pensamiento monógamo, terror poliamoroso</i>.</li> <li><b>#03. <i>Sidereal intimism</i></b> (07/05/2019) - In this third episode we follow the tale of the tradition that puts women at the centre of the intimate drama and explore the fictions that have transported that drama to extra planetary dimensions. We look specifically at the forms that maternity and marital relationships take in literary science fiction, paying special attention to the production in the Spanish-speaking world by the Cuban author and academic <b>Maielis González</b>. <b>Laura Lazcano</b> presents the external space in the audio-visual as a scenario of conflicts codified in the feminine.</li> <li><b>#04. <i>Radioactive Test Tubes</i></b> (18/06/2019) - How many of us are able to name a female scientist other than Marie Curie? Where are the female doctors Frankenstein, Jekyll, or Strangelove? Were they forgotten like so many other women, erased from the history of science by their male colleagues, husbands, or mentors? In this episode we will be delving into the genealogy of family scientists who inhabit the speculative gender and their different relations with patriarchal society from Western science, with special emphasis on the novel <i>Life</i>, by <b>Gwyneth Jones</b>. On an audiovisual level, <b>Laura Lazcano</b> will review the figure of the female scientist in the 1950s B films and her progression in current films. Throughout this review we will be using as backup the essay by <b>S. García Dauder and Eulalia Pérez Sedeño</b> entitled <i>The ‘Scientific Lies’ about Women</i>, together with our special guest, the Mexican authoress <b>Gabriela Damián Miravete</b>, winner of the 2018 Tiptree Award with her story <i>They will dream in the garden</i></li> <li><b>#05. <i>Through queer time</i></b> (16/07/2019) - On the occasion of the LGBTQ + pride, which marked this past June the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall revolts, in this fifth episode we immerse ourselves in the speculative fiction that explores and practices what is queer. We start from <b>Le Guin's</b> classic <i>The Left Hand of Darkness</i>, and the limitations of this concrete reimagining of the genre, aided by <b>Monique Wittig's</b> <i>The Straight Thought</i>. We review gay urban genealogy in the work of New Yorker <b>Samuel Delany</b> and draw links between his writing and the queer and decolonial reflections of <b>Hiromi Goto</b> through what the theorist Jack Halberstam calls "queer time". <b>Laura Lazcano</b> brings us early examples of queer science fiction in the cinema of the 70s and 80s, the New Queer Cinema and its exponents, and tells us how transsexuality is reflected in current fiction. We also listen to some of the young bisexual voices of the current state-of-the-art fantasy and investigate the speculative potential of Spanish-speaking transfeminism thinking.</i></li> <li><b>#06. <i>Interplanetary Killjoys</i></b> (16/10/2019) - In this episode we will be taking a walk along the extra planetary boundaries of humour from fragments of the short story <i>Unpronounceable</i> (Aqueduct Press), by US author <b>Susan DiRende</b>. We will also be chatting about humour as a tool through a gender kaleidoscope with author <b>Almijara Barbero Carvajal</b>, co-publisher of the anthology <i>Maldita la gracia</i> (Cerbero), and we will be asking one of her chosen authors, Eva Duncan, why Murcia. From Lazcano’s armchair we will be finding out the relationship between science fiction comedy and sex in European and US films. We will tiptoe through the link between comedy and censorship in the story behind the tale <i>Gu ta gutarra</i> by the Argentinian <b>Magdalena Mouján Otaño</b>, and we will explore how happiness orbits all of this at the hand of feminist killjoy archetype, defined by philosopher <b>Sara Ahmed</b> in her essay <i>The Promise of Happiness</i> (Caja Negra).</i></li> </ul> | en |
