Mercedes Morán, Lawyer with the Spanish Centre for Reprographic Rights (CEDRO).
With a law degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid and master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from the Carlos III University in Madrid, she has been working in the Legal Department of CEDRO since 2012.
She has participated in several publications as an author and/or coordinator, including the 2021 and 2023 Intellectual Property and Industrial Property Yearbooks published by Tirant Lo Blanch (Actualidad Collection). She received both the 8th edition Antonio Delgado Award for the work titled “Entidades de gestión: un sector regulado en el Derecho de la UE” and the 10th edition for the work titled “Metabibliotecas y criptomuseos: nuevas formas de difusión del patrimonio cultural y su implicación en los derechos de propiedad intelectual”.
She participates regularly as a lecturer in several master’s programmes, courses, seminars and round tables. She collaborates with the media on issues related to intellectual property, new technologies and cultural law.
