A philosopher and art critic, Jaime Cuenca is a full professor of Language Theory at the University of Deusto. He has published more than thirty articles in academic journals and is the author of three monographs. He maintains an ongoing reflection, grounded in art theory and criticism, on the contemporary conditions of artistic reception: he has published over 200 reviews in the press and contributed to numerous catalogs and exhibition texts for institutions such as the Joan Miró Foundation and the Artium Museum, in addition to delivering guest lectures at venues such as the Guggenheim Bilbao and the Museo del Chopo (Mexico City). Recently, he curated the exhibition De la colección no se vuelve (BilbaoArte Foundation, 2025–2026).
