Her professional interests are focused on analysing how to incorporate the gender perspective into research, studying intersectional biases in artificial intelligence, and raising awareness of the “leaky pipeline” through which female talent is lost in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

She is a member of the European Commission's Gendered Innovations Expert Group led by Stanford University to analyse the impact of not incorporating the gender perspective in artificial intelligence. She hosts a technology section on the radio programme “Hoy por Hoy Bilbao” on Cadena SER.

She is also a member of the panel of judges of the Ada Byron award for Women in Technology and has created Nobel Run, together with Pablo Garaizar and Iñigo Maestro. It is a board game that takes a playful and innovative approach to questioning and transforming gender stereotypes and inequality in science.
