Dejabu is an award-winning company that combines physical and object theatre. The works the company has been performing since 2001 have been warmly received by the audience and critics since their beginning. They are highly moving, with carefully crafted images and a powerful sense of poetics.
Ainara Gurrutxaga, Urko Redondo and Miren Alcalá are the company’s artistic directors, who surround themselves with a diverse group of creators for each project they carry out. Throughout their 20 year history, the company has produced different shows for children and adults, such as “Gizona ez da txoria”, “Arrastoak”, “Gurebide galduak” and “Limbo planeta”, among others. In recent years they have also worked with proposals related to artistic installation and site specific, e.g. Naon Tokin.
They are currently the resident company at the Niessen theatre in Errenteria and members of Fábrica Lekuona´s driving hub. They are also taking part in the Eztena Festival organisation.
