Collado Cabrera, Bibiana
With a degree in Hispanic Philology and a PhD in Spanish-American Literature, she is currently a professor of Language and Literature. She has won numerous awards for her work in the field of poetic writing, including the 34th Archpriest of Hita Poetry Award for “Como si nunca antes” (Pre-Textos, 2013); “El recelo del agua” (Rialp, 2017), which was runner-up for the Adonáis Prize; and the Complutense Literature Award for Certeza del colapso (Ediciones Complutense, 2018). Her latest collection of poems, “Violencia” (La Bella Varsovia, 2020), has been reprinted several times. Her first novel, “Yeguas exhaustas” (Pepitas de calabaza & Los aciertos, 2023), is considered one of the best debut novels of the year (El Cultural). It deals with her own experience transitioning from the 20th to the 21st century in Spain.
