Carrión, Jorge (1976- )
Jorge Carrión is a writer, cultural critic and director of the Master in Literary Creation at UPF-BSM, Barcelona. He collaborates with several press media, such as The Washington Post and Publisher’s Weekly in Spanish. He has published the fiction works “Los muertos” (2010), “Teleshakespeare” (2011), “Los huérfanos” (2014), “Los turistas” (2015), “Membrana” (2022) y “Todos los museos son novelas de ciencia ficción” (2022); likewise the narrative essays“La brújula” (2006), “Australia. Un viaje”(2008), “Librerías” (2013), “Barcelona. Libro de los pasajes” (2017), “Contra Amazon” (2019) and “Lo viral” (2020). Most of his work has been published by Galaxia Gutenberg. One of his latest novels, “Membrana” (2021), uses language related to AI to examine the ins and outs of technological power.
