Álvaro, de los Ángeles (1971- )
A graduate in Fine Arts from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and the Southampton Institute of Higher Education, he holds a Master´s degree in Fine Arts from the Norwich School of Art and Design (United Kingdom). He served as deputy director at IVAM, Institut Valencià d’Art Modern´s Department of Cultural Activities and Programmes, from 2014 to 2018.
He has curated more than thirty exhibitions, including Registros contra el tiempo(Fundación Marcelino Botín, 2006), Herramientas del arte. Relecturas (Sala Parpalló, 2008) and (sic) Societat i cultura (MuVIM, 2009-2010).
He has written about the work of visual and fine artists such as Bleda y Rosa, Isidoro Valcárcel Medina, Antoni Muntadas, Daniel G. Andújar, Ana Amorim, Esther Ferrer or Joan Fontcuberta, and has contributed to various cultural journals and media outlets.
