A journalist born in Extremadura, she is the co-ordinator for the feminist magazine "Pikara Magazine, coautora de Memorias ahogadas" (Pepitas, 2024), and a freelance journalist.
She holds a Degree in Journalism, a Master´s degree in Development & Globalisation, and a post-graduate degree in International Information. She has committed twenty years working in specialised, generalist, regional and local media, including agencies, and covering international news. She was granted the 2020 Joan Gomis Award for her career as a journalist in recognition of her work on water issues; the 2022 V Cepesca Award for the best informative work on sustainability and the environment; the 2017 Pedro Zerolo Digital Journalism Award; and the 2013 Dionisio Acedor Journalism Award. She is co-author of the book “Emergencia climática” (Libros.com, 2021) and has taken part in numerous discussion tables, talks and workshops on journalism, communication, water, human rights and extractivism.
