Emanuele Coccia is a philosopher and associated social sciences professor at École des hautes études (Paris). His research work and writing draw a long line connecting his early research on the philosophy of imagination (at the hand of the Andalusian doctor and philosopher Averroes) to the study of plant life and the metamorphosis concept from a philosophical perspective and sensitive thought.
