Giunta, Andrea (1960- )
Andrea Giunta is the Principal Researcher at CONICET, Argentina, as well as a Latin American and International Art Professor at Buenos Aires University. Co-Curator of Radical Women. Latin American Art, 1960-1985 (together with Cecilia Fajardo-Hill), Hammer Museum, 2017 and Verboamérica (together with Agustín Pérez Rubio), Malba, 2016-2018. Authoress of When does Contemporary Art Begin? (ArteBA, 2017), Escribir las imágenes (Siglo XXI, 2011), Poscrisis (Siglo XXI, 2009), Avant-Garde, Internationalism and Politics. Argentine Art in the Sixties (Duke University Press, 2007). She received scholarships from Getty, Harrington, Rockefeller, and Guggenheim. Tinker Visiting Professor, Columbia University, New York, Spring 2017.
