Juan Pablo Villalobos (Guadalajara, Mexico, 1973). His work has been translated into 20 languages. He currently lives in Barcelona, where he imparts literary workshops and is professor of Writing and Literature at Pompeu Fabra University and Cinema and Audiovisual School of Catalonia. He has translated the works of several Brazilian narrators.
He has written 6 novels, namely Peluquería y letras (2022); La invasión del pueblo del espíritu (2020); No voy a pedirle a nadie que me crea (Herralde Award 2016); Te vendo un perro (2015); Si viviéramos en un lugar normal (2012) and Fiesta en la madriguera (2010).
