She studied Basque Philology and later specialised in Children and Young Adult Literature. She has worked with various written press media and has published several children’s books. "Basa" (consonni, 2021) is her first novel (Igartza Saria Award 2017, Siete Calles Award 2019). She combines writing with bertsolarismo (improvised verse singing).
