The artistic platform PanicMap, founded by Juan Pablo Mendiola and Margarita Burbano, has been committed for over a decade to the development of a distinctive language that integrates narrative, body movement, space, and technology to transcend the boundaries of performance. This multidisciplinary approach opens a dialogue between visual arts, music, digital arts, and dramaturgy, aimed at stimulating the imagination and curiosity of the audience.
The term assigned to this unique language, which goes beyond the mere fusion of disciplines, is “Poetically Augmented Dramaturgy”. It forms a creative ecosystem where elements—be they interpretative, visual, or sound—not only coexist but also intertwine in a synergic way, amplifying and enriching each another. In this environment, the performers´ deep sense of feeling is enhanced through the poetic use of visual, sound, and digital tools, creating a truly immersive and striking theatrical experience.
