Jairo Marcos was born in Burgos on a 7th March in any year and suffers from chronic curiosity. He says he considers questions as a way of being and existing… maybe that’s why he became a labourer of arts.
Precariousness, philosophy (PhD, Master and Degree), and journalism (Post-graduate and Degree) are the three vital horizons from where he poses his freelance questions. He is the co/author of several books, the latest being “Memorias ahogadas” (Pepitas 2024) and “Pensar desde las víctimas. La transformación pendiente”(Comares 2023) and has worked as a professor at a public university. The website www.desplazados.org displays a large number of his publications.
