Bilbao (Bizkaia),1963. Artist and PhD in Art and Research (EHU/UPV). She has received numerous grants, among the latest is that of the Spanish Royal Academy in Rome 2018 and 2016, BBVA Foundation, Beca Art i Natura in Farrera (La Panera, LLeida), La Cité International des Arts of París, Art and Law Foundation, Artium Museum and Bilbaoarte Foundation.
She has recently exhibited in The BBVA Foundation (Madrid), MUSAC (León), Matadero (Madrid), La Panera (Lleida), Tabacalera (Madrid), and has also presented her works in the National Museum Reina Sofía, MACBA, Tàpies Foundation, CDAN (Huesca), among others. She has also directed different seminar-workshops on artistic practices, activism, feminism, and Queer theory in ARTELEKU, Donostia, in the years 1995-1997-2003-2006; Sala Rekalde, Bilbao, 2008; Bizkaia Aretoa-EHU/UPV, Bilbao 2011; Tabakalera, Donostia 2014. She has been the editor for different publications such as Erreakzioa, Joyas y Caprichos, and Series Múltiples. She has also given conferences in different museums, art centres and universities throughout Spain.
