- Larretxea, Hasier (1982- )
- Hasier Larretxea (Arraioz, Navarra, 1982) writer and poet.
In 2018 he has published his first novel in Spanish, ‘The Language of the Forest’ (Espasa, 2018), with illustrations by Zuri Negrín and photographs by Paola Lozano.
He has also published books of poetry such as ‘Meridianos de tierra’ (Harpo Libros, 2017), ‘De un nuevo paisaje’ (Stendhal Books, 2016), ‘Niebla fronteriza’ (El Gaviero, 2015), ‘Atakak’ (Alberdania, 2011), its Spanish translation ‘Barreras’ (La Garúa, 2013), and ‘Azken bala / La última bala’ (Point de Lunettes, 2008).
The narrative book ‘Larremotzetik’ (Erein, 2014) and his participation in the project ‘Te cuento’ with the story ‘Pulgarcito’, accompanied by images from the photojournalist Clemente Bernad (Alkibla, 2015), also form part of his work.
Together with Zuri Negrín he formed part of ‘Hazu Studio’, where he wrote one sentence every day during 2014 for the project ‘Un póster al día’ (‘A Poster a Day’).
He has collaborated with the musician Leo Minax in the composition of the lyrics to the song ‘Ladudada’ (‘Lo que no estaba escrito’, Aulanalua Records, 2015).
