Summary:
SCROOGE y los fantasmas is the first children’s stage film by the company Khea Ziater.

It is an adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ novel A Christmas Carol, but transferred to the present day. It is produced for the stage in the manner and style of Khea Ziater creations, where stage and film codes come together going further in this case, with a triple combination of actors, cinema and puppets.

After a production career aimed at adult audiences, the company has taken on the challenge to bring film format to children’s theatre, with a proposal combining film and theatre on both aesthetic and narrative planes.
Description:
This is the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a tight-fisted selfish banker obsessed with money, who has given up on love. One night, after refusing to give his employee Roberta the day off, who wished to celebrate her sick daughter´s birthday, the ghost of Scrooge’s deceased miserly partner Marley appears before him. Marley offers him one last chance to save himself calling the three ghosts to visit Scrooge.

With them, Scrooge relives his past, becomes aware of his present, and observes the sad future awaiting him. However, in the end, thanks to the journeys he shares with the ghosts, Scrooge turns into a generous, cheerful person with a tremendous desire to love.
