Luz Broto’s proposal for Prototipoak Bilbao is to generate a 1:1 scale model of the Azkuna Zentroa building in real time through a body that travels along the spaces comprising the Centre. The aim is to bring the intricate layout of spaces that make up the interior of the Centre closer to the audience.
On Saturday, 31 May, a body will set out to wander through the 43,000m2 comprising the Azkuna Zentroa Centre, fitted with a camera as it travels through all spaces both with public and restricted access. This will be broadcast live in the Bastida Hall where the audience can follow, see and listen to its journey from beginning to end. You may even cross with it during your visit. The journey starts at 6:00 p.m. and how long it will take to complete is unknown.
