La ola en la mente. Sobre escritura, imagen, gesto, cuerpo

Abstract

Isabel de Naverán propone este seminario en el marco de <b><i>La ola en la mente</i></b>, un proyecto que desarrolla como Investigadora Asociada a Azkuna Zentroa entre 2021 y 2023.</br> Con el subtítulo <b><i>Sobre escritura, imagen, gesto, cuerpo</i></b>, este seminario comparte, a lo largo de una jornada, conferencias, conversaciones y proyecciones que nos acercan a las correspondencias mantenidas por de Naverán con una serie de interlocutoras cómplices cuyo hacer se vincula al ámbito del arte, la filosofía, la arquitectura y la danza. </br> <b><i>La ola en la mente</i></b> nombra una zona de investigación que Isabel de Naverán desarrolla inspirada en una carta que Virginia Woolf envía a Vita Sackville-West en 1926. En ella, Woolf incide en la importancia de encontrar el ritmo adecuado en la escritura. Un proceso que compara con el movimiento de una ola silenciosa, que se inicia en alta mar y que paulatinamente se acerca hacia la orilla. La tarea de quien escribe consiste, dice Woolf, en detectar el movimiento de esa onda mientras se acerca, rompe y se asienta en la mente. Isabel de Naveránek mintegi hau proposatzen du, 2021 eta 2023 bitartean Azkuna Zentroko ikertzaile AZkide gisa lantzen ari den <b><i>Uhina gogoan</i></b> proiektuaren barruan. <b><i>Idazketaz, irudiaz, keinuaz eta gorputzaz</i></b> azpitituluarekin, mintegi honek, jardunaldi batean, hitzaldiak, elkarrizketak eta proiekzioak eskainiko ditu, eta horiek hurbilduko gaituzte Naveránek arte, filosofia, arkitektura eta dantzaren esparruan aritzen diren solaskide konplize batzuekin izandako korrespondentzietara.</br> <b><i>Uhina gogoan</i></b> 1926an Virginia Woolfek Vita Sackville-West-i bidalitako gutun batean oinarrituta Isabel de Naveránek egiten ari den ikerketa-gune baten izena da. Gutunean, idazketan erritmo egokia aurkitzeak duen garrantzia azpimarratzen du Woolfek. Prozesua olatu isil baten mugimenduarekin alderatzen du, zeina itsas zabalean hasi, eta pixkanaka itsasertzerantz hurbiltzen den. Idazten duenaren zeregina, Woolfek dioenez, olatu horren mugimendua hautematea da, hurbiltzen, apurtzen eta gogoan finkatzen den bitartean. Isabel de Naverán proposes this seminar within the framework of <b><i>The Wave in the Mind</i></b>, a project she is developing as an Associate Researcher at Azkuna Zentroa between 2021 and 2023. With the subtitle <b><i>On writing, image, gesture & body</i></b>, this seminar shares lectures, conversations and screenings over the course of a day, bringing us closer to the correspondences between de Naverán and a series of accompanying interlocutors whose work is linked to the fields of art, philosophy, architecture and dance.</br>

<b><i>The Wave in the Mind</i></b> is the name of the research area where Isabel de Naverán works inspired by Virginia Woolf’s letter to Vita Sackville-West in 1926. In this letter, Woolf emphasises the importance of finding the right rhythm in writing, a process she compares to the movement of a silent wave which starts in high sea and slowly reaches the shore. As Woolf says, the writer’s task consists of detecting the movement of said wave as it approaches, breaks and settles in the mind.
