Artoteka is a dissemination platform for local contemporary art and artistic mediation.
Its purpose is to bring contemporary art into contact with different collectives, people and daily life spaces. Anyone interested can borrow a work of art or undertake artistic mediation activities via Artoteka in order to learn, experiment and enjoy the work of artists, likewise think collectively about the challenges and specific problems posed by the reality surrounding us.
Artoteka began here in Bizkaia at the Azkuna Zentroa Mediateka Gallery. During this initial test stage it served to further expand and improve the project.

The exhibition shows a work by each of the 10 artists participating in the Artoteka collection. Its main mission is to publicize the project, the artists who are part of it and their works, and enable all interested people to become users.
