Abstract

</p><b>La ilusión no se come, pero alimenta.</b></p>

Como hijos de esta era estamos agotados de tener que justificar constantemente nuestra existencia, hemos aprendido a hablar como se nos quiere escuchar.<br>

Cuando tratamos de buscar un origen, no podemos dejar de sentir ese irremediable sentimiento que se manifiesta por no poder llegar a conocer las historias de las que nos precedieron. Somos cuerpos que están hechos de otros cuerpos, que se juntan innumerables veces a lo largo de los siglos.<br>

Nuestra historia también es la vida de las que estaban antes que nosotros aquí, ellas existían mucho antes que las historias. ¿Qué es lo moderno en nuestra identidad cuando de verdad llegamos a ser conscientes de cuál es nuestra historia? No somos modernos, somos mucho más antiguos. Nos damos cuenta de que todo tiene millones de años, de que con nosotros el mundo nace de nuevo, antes de nosotros nada existía, pero sabíamos quiénes éramos antes de nacer.<br>

Las experiencias humanas y las grandes preguntas del ser humano, aquellas que no cambian desde la antigüedad, sirven de alimento poético para este proyecto, según explican sus creadores Led Silhouette (Martxel Rodriguez y Jon López). Es, dicen, un lugar en construcción o deconstrucción, una alegoría a esa sociedad en la que vivimos, donde estos personajes que llevan grandes cargas, que tienen un camino por recorrer y anhelan superar los contratiempos y errores que les separan de la felicidad se juntan para contar una nueva historia. Porque la ilusión no se come, pero alimenta. Un lugar que nunca les da nada de todo lo que quieren y a causa de esa falta, de ese deseo por infinito, se ven obligados a buscar la grieta y abrir el hueco.

Aro honetako seme-alabak garenez, nekatuta gaude gure existentzia etengabe justifikatu behar izateaz, ikasi dugu entzun nahi diguten moduan hitz egiten.<br>

Jatorri bat bilatzen saiatzen garenean, ezinezkoa zaigu ez sentitzea ezinbesteko sentimendu hori, gure aurrekoen istorioak ezin ezagutu ditzakegula ikustean agertzen dena. Beste gorputz bat zuez eginda dauden gorputzak gara, mendeetan barrena ezin konta ahala aldiz elkartzen direnak.<br>

Gure historia gu baino lehen hemen zeudenen bizitza ere bada, haiek istorioak baino askoz lehenago existitzen ziren. Zer da modernoa gure identitatean, benetan jabetzen garenean zein den gure historia? Ez gara modernoak, askoz zaharragoak gara. Ohartzen gara denak milioika urte dituela, gurekin mundua berriz jaiotzen dela, gure aurretik ezer ez zela existitzen, baina bagenekien nor ginen jaio aurretik.<br> Giza esperientziak eta gizakiaren galdera handiak, antzinatik aldatzen ez direnak, elikagai poetiko dira proiektu honetarako, Led Silhouette-ren (Martxel Rodriguez eta Jon López) sortzaileek azaldu dutenez. Diotenez, eraikitzen edo deseraikitzen ari den leku bat da, bizi garen gizarte honen alegoria bat, non zama handiak daramatzaten pertsonaiak, bidea ibili behar duten eta zorionetik aldentzen dituzten ezbeharrak eta akatsak gainditu nahi dituzten horiek, elkartu egiten diren istorio berri bat kontatzeko. Ilusioa ez baita jaten, baina elikatu egiten du. </p><b>You cannot eat illusion, but you can nourish yourself on it.</b></p>

As children of this era we are fed up with having to constantly justify our existence. We have learnt to speak in the way the rest want to listen.<br>

When trying to find the origin, we cannot help feeling that irretrievable sense of not being able to know the stories preceding us. We are bodies made from other bodies that have joined together innumerable times since the beginning of time.<br>

Our story is also one of those lives that were here before us and existed long before the stories. What is modern about our identity when we truly reach awareness of what our story is? We are not modern, we are much older. We realise everything is millions of years old, and we notice that the world is reborn with us, because before us nothing existed and yet we knew who we were before we were born.<br>

Human experiences and man’s most relevant questions, those which have not changed since the beginning of time, serve as poetic manna for this project according to its creators, Led Silhouette (Martxel Rodriguez & Jon López). As they state, it is a place of construction or dismantling, an allegory to the society in which we live, where these characters, who bear heavy loads and have a journey to undertake, likewise a desire to overcome the setbacks separating them from happiness, come together to tell a new story. For, although you cannot eat illusion, you can nourish yourself on it. It is a place that never gives them anything from everything they desire. And because of that lack and that desire for the infinite, they find themselves forced to look for a crack and open up the niche.
