Ulises 2.0

Abstract

<p><i>Ulises 2.0</i> presenta la muestra recogida en la exposición (2008) y el libro-catálogo <i>Ulises 2.0</i>, publicado conjuntamente por la Asociación Zubietxe y Azkuna Zentroa – Alhóndiga Bilbao, en el que participaron personas nacidas en 13 países y residentes en 25 ciudades para formar diálogos en torno a ese difícil viaje que emprenden desde cada lugar.<br>Las ilustraciones abordan todo el proceso: desde la decisión de dejar el propio país hasta la integración en la sociedad de acogida, mostrándolo en toda su diversidad en cuanto a los motivos que empujan a migrar, el perfil del o la migrante, las peculiaridades de género o la problemática que se encuentra a lo largo de las fases que atraviesa.<br>Cada obra realizada por personas migrantes está versionada por un/a ilustrador/a profesional, entre los que se encuentran profesionales de la talla de Paco Roca, Manuel Bartual, Raquel Alzate, Sonia Pulido, Lola Lorente o Javier de Isusi.<br><i>Ulises 2.0</i> brinda así la oportunidad de comprobar cómo dos artistas con vidas aparentemente tan diferentes son capaces de entenderse porque, sobre todo, son dos personas.</p>

<p><i>Ulises 2.0</i> -k erakusketan jasotako lanak (2008) eta Zubietxe elkarteak eta Azkuna Zentroa – Alhóndiga Bilbaok batera argitaratutako <i>Ulises 2.0</i> katalogo- liburua aurkezten ditu. Bertan, 13 herrialdetan jaio eta 25 hiritan bizi diren pertsonek parte hartu zuten, leku desberdinetatik abiatutako bidaia zail horri buruzko elkarrizketak osatzeko.<br>Ilustrazioek prozesu osoa jorratzen dute: beren herrialdea uzteko erabakia hartzen denetik, harrerako gizartean integratu arte; eta bere aniztasun osoan erakusten dute, migratzera bultzatzen duten arrazoiei, migratzailearen profilari, genero-berezitasunei eta bidaiaren faseetan dauden arazoei dagokienez.<br>Ilustratzaile profesional batek egin du migratzaileek egindako lan bakoitzaren bertsioa, besteak beste, Paco Roca, Manuel Bartual, Raquel Alzate, Sonia Pulido, Lola Lorente, Javier de Isusi eta antzeko beste profesional batzuek.<br>Hala,<i>Ulises 2.0</i>-k aukera ematen digu egiaztatzeko itxuraz oso bizitza desberdina duten bi artista elkar ulertzeko gai direla, batez ere, bi pertsona direlako.</p>

<p><i>Ulises 2.0</i> presents the display included in the Ulises 2.0 exhibition (2008) and the book-catalogue, published jointly by Asociación Zubietxe and Azkuna Zentroa – Alhóndiga Bilbao. People born in 13 countries and residing in 25 cities took part in this work to create dialogues revolving around that difficult journey they undertook from each place of origin.<br>The illustrations cover the entire process, from deciding to leave their own country to integration in the society which took them in, showing everything in all its diversity, i.e. the reasons leading to migration, profile of the migrant, and gender idiosyncrasies or problems encountered throughout the different stages they go through.<br>Each of the works done by the migrants has been adapted by a professional illustrator, among whom are professionals such as Paco Roca, Manuel Bartual, Raquel Alzate, Sonia Pulido, Lola Lorente and Javier de Isusi<br>Thus, <i>Ulises 2.0</i> provides the opportunity to see how two artists with apparently totally different lives are capable of understanding each other because, above all, they two people.</p>
