Estanis Comella. SXT (Source by Transkription) - AP7: VEIL

Abstract

<p>Su práctica se basa en la idea de superficie y pliego como interfaz, permitiendo organizar formal y conceptualmente las variaciones que emergen de diferentes líneas de trabajo.<br>Creando marcos narrativos desde los que se desprenden registros y temporalidades con un fuerte interés por cómo estos toman cuerpo y se insertan en el espacio.<br>Su proyecto "SXT (Source by Transkription)" muestra el proceso de configuración de un texto que no tiene un orden establecido de lectura y que se ha ido elaborando en una serie de acciones en vivo sucedidas durante 2020 y 2021. Este texto trata de establecer las nociones desde las que poder improvisar en directo. Materiales anexos como imágenes de un archivo propio y prácticas ajenas guían el deseo de escritura del que parte SXT. Uno de los nexos en común de estos materiales es el carácter escultórico de la arquitectura, transportado al espacio desde el cuerpo y la voz.</p>

<p>His practice is based on the idea of surface and fold as an interface, which allows to formally and conceptually organise the variations that emerge from different lines of work.<br>In this way, narrative frameworks are created from which registers and temporalities emerge with a strong interest in how they take shape and are inserted in space.<br>“SXT (Source by Transkription)” shows the configuration process for a text without an established reading order, created through a series of live actions taking place throughout 2020 and 2021. Said text endeavours to establish notions from where you can improvise live. Annexed materials, such as images from one's own archive and other people's practices, guide SXT's desire to write. One of the common links between these materials is the sculptural nature of architecture, transported into space from the body and the voice.</p>
