Gala Knörr is a visual artist. She holds a BA in Fine Arts from Parsons Paris and an MA from Central Saint Martins.
She was a finalist for the Caja de Extremadura Foundation Obra Abierta Award, the Miquel Casablancas Award, the Fundació Vila Casas Painting Prize, and selected for the BMW Painting Award. She has been an artist in residence at MORPHO (Antwerp, 2023), Fundación BilbaoArte (Bilbao, 2022), Tabakalera (San Sebastián, 2021), AIR Wro (Wroclaw, 2021), Cité Internationale des Arts (Paris, 2019), and the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum (New York, 2017).
