Sculptor and curator. He has been holding solo exhibitions and participating in group collections since 1980.
Tenured professor at the University of Vigo, he lectures on Master ́s Degrees and Doctorate programmes at several universities. He has curated exhibitions such as Tesoro público. Economías de realidad (ARTIUM, 2012), El retorno de lo imaginario. Realismos entre XIX y XXI (Reina Sofía Museum, 2010) or Incógnitas. Cartografías del Arte contemporáneo en el País Vasco (Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, 2007).
