With a degree in Philology, she has been a librarian at the BNE since 2008 in the Technical Process and Digital Library Departments.

Her work has always focused on the dissemination of digital collections and resources, promoting their visibility, fostering cooperation and exploring new environments and opportunities for the use of digital cultural heritage by society.

She currently oversees the strategic lines and projects of Spain’s National Library in the fields of digital innovation and the reuse of digital resources, within the framework of BNElab. Her current lines of work are related to data exploitation, collaborative enrichment, generation of new formats for dissemination and recreation, or ways of applying artificial intelligence.

She is also a member of the Standing Committee of IFLA’s Information Technology Section.
